An app that uses blockchain technology to record every step of the olive oil production process, from the field to the consumer’s table.
Each event is stored as an immutable block, meaning that it:
- Cannot be altered or manipulated
- Is verifiable by any authorized user
- Builds trust between producers and consumers

Solution
🌿 In the field (harvesting)
→ The farmer records harvest date, exact location, and olive variety, creating the first blockchain entry.
🚚 Transport and mill (almazara)
→ Data is added about transport time, conditions (temperature, cleanliness), and oil extraction process at the mill.
🏭 Production and bottling
→ Records include oil type (extra virgin, etc.), production batch, and quality certifications.
📦 Distribution
→ Information on logistics routes, intermediate warehouses, and transfer dates is stored.
🛒 Final consumer
→ The user scans a QR code on the bottle and accesses the full product history in the app.
